Workshops, Events & Classes
When you join me for a craft workshop you will have a truly creative and inspirational experience. My workshops are about having fun and making new friends in a creative and relaxed environment. I have much experience in working with all abilities and age groups. I am currently a Craft Tutor & Facilitator for the Charity ASCEND, Creative Textiles Tutor for Three Rivers District Council . I also independently conduct workshops in schools and within the community, exhibit my work and participate in Open Studio Trails. Most materials are provided in the price including naughty but delicious refreshments as well as some healthier ones. Workshops are suitable for beginner and can be adapted for those with more experience. Further details and information will be sent when you have completed your workshop booking

All Creatures Great & Small
£45 including most materials 10-4pm
In this workshop you will create a couple of creature inspired snippets that can be used for card making, for Artist Trading Cards, tags, journaling, framing, fabric and travelling books. Looking at design, composition, colour palette and layering you will creating a fabulous creature artwork ready to stitch
In the second part of the workshop you will embellish these paper snippets with embroidery threads and embellishments.
Giraffe Safari
£45 including most materials 10-4pm
In this workshop you will create an inspired piece capturing a glimpse of a gorgeous giraffe without even going on safari!
You will create a mixed media artwork on a board, you will collage with vintage papers & tea bags. You will make a stamp, use transfer foils, silk inks and look at design, composition, colour palette and layering. You will produce one during the session
Indian Summer
£45 including most materials 10-4pm
In this workshop you will create an inspired piece capturing the wonderful sight and colour of India
You will create a mixed media art cloth collaging with vintage papers, tea bag paper, silk inks, stamping and foils, looking at design, composition, colour palette and layering. There will be a choice of finishes and can be embellished in paint or stitch, or even both. You will produce one during the session
Drift
£45 including most materials 10-4pm
In this workshop you will create an inspired piece capturing the weathered wood of the seaside
You will make a mixed media artwork creating faux drift wood, using crackle paste and embellished with tiny found items themed to your choice. We will look at design, composition, colour palette and layering. You will produce a set of nine during the session
Making Memories
Tricia Collage
Janets Garden Collage
£45 including most materials 10-4pm
Celebrate your memories with a vintage inspired collage. Lots of materials will be provided but I will encourage you to bring your shoe box full of memories and photographs to create this unique collage. It can be made for a gift or it might so gorgeous that you would want to keep it for yourself, no art experience necessary. This one was made by Janet with her gardening tools from childhood and memories of her Dad growing vegetables and the other by Tricia for her granddaughters bedroom

Decoupage Fabric & Stitch
£45 including most materials 10-4pm
Exploring different types of decoupage with papers and fabric that can be useful for backgrounds, journals, card making and stitch projects
Altered Playing Cards
£45 including most materials 10-4pm
Alter playing cards to the theme of your choice using vintage papers and ink. These can be decorated with family photos or I can provide some images for you. Also included is a box in which to store them which you will also decorate, distress and foil
Stitchity Snippets
£45 including most materials 10-4.00pm
You will decoupage with vintage paper snippets. You will then embellish thses snippets with hand stitching sequins and buttons going home with a coupe of unique artworks that can be framed or added to other projects
Fabulous Fabrics
£22 including most materials 10-12.30pm
Explore fabric paints through different applications including printing, stencilling, stamping, and other effects. You will go home with several samples ready for use on your own projects
Hot Transfer Inks

Explore transfer inks through different applications on various weights of fabrics. you will go home with several samples ready for use on your own projects
Decorative Fabric Paper

Explore fabric paper, using teabags, napkins, foils and papers. You will go home with several samples of fabric paper ready for use on your own projects
Itsie Bitsie Stitcheries

Different techniques including printing images onto fabric, iron on transfer, fabric stamping, decoupage with paper and fabric, teabags and hand stitching
Making Mini Memories
£22 including most materials 10-12.30pm
Make series of three memories that can be displayed together of individually as a wonderful keepsake. These can be themed to your choice
The Artful Journal
£45 including most materials 10-4pm
This workshop is a beginners guide to the Artful Journal. You will learn how to prepare your journal, build up backgrounds and design foregrounds. You will also have the opportunity to try out different products, use a die cutting machine and master new techniques with confidence. No art experience necessary
Heirloom Mini Quilt
£45 including most materials 10-4pm
Created a personalised mini quilt using a family portrait as your focus. Decorate and embellish with fabrics, lace and buttons. hand stitched
Rust & Roses Vintage Chic
£90 including most materials two day 10-4pm
Join me for a fun two days on this project piece. You will achieve several different techniques over the two days and will be using heat guns, paper, paint, fabric, old linens and embellishing with free embroidery and hand stitching. You will need to bring your sewing machine plus instruction manual and a darning foot attachment. This workshop is suitable for those with some stitching experience
